Last September we filmed a Ferrari weekend event at Silverstone and on the saturday they attempted to break the world record of the most Ferrari's on a track at the same time.

The Presenter took part in my 348 and he will also be in the 348 documentary which starts filming next month.

This is a rough cut segment from the main video which should be ready for viewing next month

Wow, what unfortunate timing. I guess better than on the M1 at rush hour...... So what was the final diagnosis? If it was the battery, and you were pushing the car anyway, couldn't you put it in gear, pop the clutch and do an old fashioned push start (one of the many advantages of a manual tranny)?

Looks like an alternator issue, that's my guess. Hence it could not have been push started.

Sorry it happened there but it could have been worse like the M1 indeed.

Yep, it was an alternator failure. Fortunately it happened on camera so it made the story more interesting.

No more 348 alternators available so had the existing one refurbished.
