PS. Still feel the .1 991tts beats 488 from a dig and .2tts would be neck and neck rom a roll.
Can't wait to see some videos of these cars having a drag.

Yep!......Both cars are faster than I'd use 99% of the time unless they start letting me close the roads down also.

From a dig I'd agree but no way any stock turbo s will take a 488 from a roll.

 

The 911 launches better due to the AWD system, but after that the 488 is much quicker: Ferrari 488 GTB vs Porsche 911 Turbo S PDK (991) [56236169]

 

Keep in mind that the Huracan is all wheel drive as well.

 

That's why it can also launch better when using LC: Ferrari 488 GTB vs Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 [56235170]

Initial launch though doesn't mean much though.

 

The Huracan is no joke, and the 488 walks it. Crazy. Would love to see a 650s and a Turbo S go against the 488.

 

Soon enough. Mine will be here this week and I have a tuned TTS with race exhaust. Once I get a few miles on her, my son and I will go out and play.

 

Tuned isn't stock. We need stock vs stock. I think the 650s may still be faster .

 

Obviously I was referring to the TTS, not the 650s. The stock 991-1 TTS is no contest for the 488, that's for certain.

 

Agree with you on gen 1ts, that's my impression after driving 488, but gen 2ts may prove a different story. Love to see a vid between these two stock. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it's very close - maybe the 488 edging it out ever so slightly. Gen 2 feels to have similar pull in the midrange as 488....hope I'm wrong. Sometimes the butt dyno can be deceiving but gen 2 pulls pretty hard on a roll.

Fwiw I ran a Huracan in my gen 1991tts from @100 to @ 220/230 and were neck and neck all the way. I wasn't using SP (over-boost), just in sports. From a dig the Huracan would definitely be beat and then wouldn't catch the lost distance back up. Both cars only had exhausts.

488 is a beast! How do you think it stacks up to a 650 S stock for stock?

 

I bet it will be very, very close. I plan to take my 488 to the 1/2 mile races in October. My plan is to race anything that it totally stock. The only issue is that almost nothing at these half mile events are stock. I don't think I've ever seen a stock 650s at one of these events.
