I almost did not post this because I am sure its a repost, you guys are much quicker than me on finding these thigns, but I missed it if it is a repost. Nose on that car seems much longer than the older cars, sure its not but some angles in the pit make it look long

    mms://vipeurosport.yacast.net/eurosport/2006/01/26/ferrari_inter_23155_4_25_3_320x240.wmv

you will have to cut/paste the link into your web browser, this system does not know that mms is a link. It wants to open your Windows Media Player.

I tried to save it to my disc but shows up as a wvx file. I tried changing mms to http and no go...I would love to save this on my system

I thought the V8's would sound somewhat different, but I really could not tell the difference between the V10 and V8. Still has that nice screaming sound to it.

Easy. Just use a program like SDP Multimedia - you can type the url in and it will save the data that gets downloaded.

Thanks for the video clip Mikey and thanks for the d/l help James.

I think the V8 sounds much better than the V10 based on this clip. Its not as beautiful sounding as the V12 but it comes close.

The V8 sounds a bit muted compared to the V10. Still sounds awesome. Nice vid, thanks for posting it.

Look 3:55 into the video, when the crew are pushing the car back into the garage. Check out the front wing. Looks a lot like the '05 McLaren, minus the little chin wing. It's huge.

Oh, and did I mention the sound is eroitc?

No pro here, but i thought the car looked really tight and responsive. Sounded great too. Looking forward to a good season of racing, and hoping ferrari is at least competitive again. Sure wish there was more passing lke there used to be though.

ps I thought ferrari had to get rid of the smoke sponsor???

To me it sounds clear that the V-8 has extra revs and a different tone, sounds great!

I agree with you. The one thing I notice is that the V10 has a more robust sound. I guess the easiest way to put it is that there is a heftier mid-range to the note. I would bet though that if I did a "blind" test I probably couldn't pick them out, LOL.

I don't like the 5 on the nose. Hopefully Ferrari will have a better V-8 then the rest of the field. We'll see.

    Alexander
