I've done a bunch of track days in my BMWs but never any kind of autocross in any of my cars. Very different experience - much more "violent" and visually demanding than a proper track. I enjoyed the heck out of it.

Got a bit spooked in one of my practice sessions. As I started to get quicker, my 'muscle memory' took over and when I wanted to stab the brakes - my foot went over and missed the brake landing in no man's land and sometimes the clutch. I'm fairly certain this is due to all of my more recent tracking experience being in an E60 M5 with different pedal spacing (and a bigger brake pedal). Thank goodness that only lasted for 1-2 runs...could have led to a really bad (dangerous) outcome.
