Sounds great, but no Tubi sound there, it must be another exhaust.

From their US site..... it sounds good, but 8 grand good???

 

US$8K.............. They better lay off the crack pipe! Thats alot of money to spend on any mod for a 348,let alone the exhaust??? Capritso/TUBI just as good,for half that price!

 

Hahahaha! Thats about it too brother! No mufflers,loud as! You will be deaf before you know it

 

Yeah just ask JDavid he has a 348 challenge that is street driven! He goes all over in that thing, but he will admit his hearing is declining because of it. It does sound good, but it is a much different tone than the one in the video.

 

8k for $25 worth of metal

 

You have to think of it this way.

8k To make your car sound like a million bucks (not that the stock ones dont!)

Somone hand me a welder and some piping.

Is that a wastegate?

 

Now this looks alot better. But 8k, lotta moola!!

 

It's a vacuum operated by-pass valve. If you notice that the tubing going to it and from it by-pass' the mufflers. If you're not jumping on the throttle the exhaust gas flows through the mufflers but, when you go to WOT (wide open throttle) the valve opens up and the exhaust gas takes the path of least resistance. It also gives it a non muffled sound.

I also believe it works as a cross pipe between the two exhaust banks. Something American V8 tuners have found to make extra power.
