Speedy is middle aged guy with no dig camera.... Sorry Houston out of my area to easily get to
Let me know, already...! You're killin' me, here, Alan... The suspense is too much... Is it black, is it red, is it dead for sure, will the factory build another...?
Poor Enzo! Is the guy going to get another Enzo? I wonder how Luca di Montezemolo reacted when he heard this.

Do any of you remember the Azzuro California F-50? This is the man who originally had that done. Remember the lead attorney in the Pennzoil case? Same person...........
I saw that particular F50 at FOH many years ago at their 'old' dealership. I snapped a pic of it, but it didn't come out right!!
Writerguy, Just a courtesy word of warning. If I were you I would be very careful about how I voiced my thoughts about the driver of this car. He has been driving Ferraris for a long time. He has owned so many of them you could lose count. They also have probably the most powerful lawfirm in Houston. Other attorneys settle out of court when just receiving a letter with this firms letterhead on it. If they find something you say offensive or in the slightest way slanderous they could probably make sure that "Texas Driver" would never start publication. Just a word of warning, my friend. Be careful what you say. It could come back to haunt you.
So I shouldn't post a review the Titty Bingo CD? Willie Nelson was never that sensitive! Looks like Mach5 was ahead of Lil' Bull and I, on frag recovery! That fence was new, by Tuesday PM. A van convoy with Ferrari shields and technicians has already been seen at the site, using scrapers and other high tech investigative equipment. Looks like it's between the driver and the factory, now. Amir has been quoted as saying another one is on the way! We'll never know for sure, but they may be interested in our wheel frags. Maybe one fell off the car, way back under Studemont! Hmmmmmm. I made one last sweep FridayPM, found a few things, but it's mostly gone. Speedy"Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly"308
That Azzuro California F-50 was repainted, before FoH could resell it. So much for unique individualism vs. Ferrari Resale Red! Some miracles occur in the FoH paint shop. If this was the old days, Enzo Ferrari would have sent a second car with the same VIN. In exchange for a new payment of $675K, of course! I don't think they can avoid a Blue Form, with so many witnesses, but we'll see. I believe that would be public record.
Audiguy, Well said, but that's not who wrecked the car, he was Owner I suppose. Amir in Texas (Houston) Spotters has ID the son as the driver at the time. It's part of the Rock and Roll Lifestyle, I guess. Just sad story. Here's Lyle Lovett's advice on driving in Houston, from the stage at Jones Hall recently: "Look for the sign with the big black numbers. Go THAT speed." Then the Large Band launched into his new rockin' tune "Wallisville Road" Give that CD some time in rotation! Speedy308 says, "I LIKE it!" Lyle of course drives a Ducati, per The New York Times recent article. Stay tuned for more details. I have some juicy tidbits from the construction guys at the site, but can't tell right now! They are watching this in amazement, they like the Ferraricaht videos, and recognize The World's Fastest Art Car now, any where they see it. But of course, most Houston area tow trucks do, as well! I have built many homes for high end attorneys. One in particular owns a large chain of firms located in most big cities. He also owns a large number of banks. I can say from experience that these types of lawyers could care less about a bunch of Ferrari enthusiasts chatting about his wrecked car. Were not saying he hit a bus full of babies while chugging Old Crow, we're just trying to find out if the world has one less Enzo. He's too busy suing big tobacco, etc. to worry or care about us. I also highly doubt that other firms simply give up when receiving a letter from his firm. There are LOTS of good lawyers out there....
Believe what you will. I have first hand experience in this knowledge. Not against me of course but still first hand. Many powerful attorneys is true but when someone begins defaming a family member personally and not just the cause of the accident they seem to take it differently. Talk all you want about the wreck but I advise to leave personal statements about the individual out. Just a suggestion. Do what you like. But as for me, I will leave personalities and personal opinions about individuals out of it.
Darn right! Shame on Rob328, for being host to a bunch of Internet Hooligans! That's how I FOUND Ferrarichat! A friend advised me they were talking about MY car, in unflattering terms at that! I never made a dime from it, though.
For the video player impaired, here's some clips from the videos... its a shame the posted video is soooo low quality...
Man, this has become a depressing thread, the driver was lucky enough to survive the wreck so lets just leave it at that.
The boys at Houston Fire Department thank you for the publicity! A donation to the 4th Man Foundation is always appreciated! They were pretty nonchalant about the whole thing. As I said on one of these threads, happens every day in the Houston commute. "It was just another car on fire, to us" LOL! They noted that it wasn't the fuel burning it was still in the tank as it towed away. The actual CF itself burned fiercely, once ignited. It was burning VERY QUICKLY after impact, it seems. The only thing unusual was the fact it was Sunday! Light traffic. Dry pavement....perfect visability..... oh never mind. I'm with Will H. Forget about it!
Let us know when YOUR car gets here, Brian! We'll bring a GOOD camera. A 360 Challege burned pretty good at Indy one year. Speedy"Pass the Halon"308
i pity the guy who buys the car after that crash. that is if it does get rebuilt which i hope it doesn't.
