That's just painful to look at. I'd like to think that it wasn't another case of a neglected fuel hose. My heart breaks a little bit every time one of them gets retired that way.

I have a problem with folks putting piston motors in an Rx7.

How can someone think this is okay?

 

Looks like it has been thrown around like a Hot Wheels car! Crazy.

 

I actually find the shock mounts more interesting, in terms of "WTF happened?"

On the plus side, the car is still around and not parted out. Sad to see as the heart has been torn out...but people do ok with heart transplants.

 

I've owned rotary engine cars for 35 years. That one hurts me also.
