    it'd be very neat if this filtered on your Subscribed Forums.

    i find it quite useful (just like the feature on the old board), except that i get back everything from all the forums, not just the ones i care about.

    Either before or after deciding what threads you're subscribing to...

    Have you gone to:
    User CP > Options
    Message & Notification
    Automatic Thread Subscription Mode > (in pulldown box) Subscribe to thread without email notification

    Then while still on:
    User CP > Options
    Thread View Options
    Default thread view age > (in pulldown box) Show threads from last day

    ?

    Just to get a wild, geeky hair...
    Then doing the View New Posts in one window and/or Mark all Posts As Read in another?
