I wonder what the agreed upon sentence was.

 

FBI seized 54 cars? From who? Buyers?

 

I would assume from both Lambo dealership's Lots.

 

If they were on the lots, unsold, how are they connected to the fraud which involved selling cars and not reporting the sale to the finance company?

 

.....because the cars sitting on the lots were financed, and their debt should have been paid for by cars already sold. But the money from sold cars wasn't sued to pay for the ones sitting there, so the ones sitting there were 'repoed' since they were collateral for their own debt amounts, and it was clear sales revenue was being diverted. I bet old Vik gets a sweetheart deal with no jail time. I met him and his sister Nora (I think) and they were snotty aholes anyway imo.

 

I just find it interesting that when the whole thing started on the forum here, as the dealerships were closing, it was said they had sold "54 cars in 8 days" at "fire sale prices"... just seems odd for such a specific number to show up twice like that...

 

Ouch. That would be "54 cars in 8 days" and some pissed off buyers without cars now.

 

I heard from an official Lambo rep, not a dealer but employee of Lamborghini, to be un-named, that the cars he ( VIC) sold are "red flagged" by Lamborghini. When they come in for service they will be identified and seized!!!! Even though the owner ( who paid cash to Vic and holds the title, the bank is still claiming the cars are theirs. Gonna be a civil case between the owners who bought the cars from Vic and VW Credit it looks like. Bad deal all around

Yeah, that was reported back in November when the original turd hit the oscillating atmosphere circulation device...

Just like the 2008 Murcielago which sold for $369,500..... and VCI balance was $348,572.

 

Either way, looks like the Newport Auto guy is screwed... he bought 22 cars!

wonder what the vin#'s are on the cars that have been seized and re-auctioned off this list? Some owners of recent fire saled cars might want to know to see if theirs are now clean!

 

geeze, this was a huge scam.... sad for all involved.

i guess the seized cars will go to auction ? i doubt they will bring their normal prices, as they are now stained.
