Any insider tips on places to stay? I haven't been before and looks like my trip to Germany will coincide with Villa d'Este.

If you have a car and like small B&B places, we have stayed with these people twice and found them to be very accommodating. It is just north of Malpensa, about 45-60 minutes from the concours.

Then I suppose that they´ve built 9 Special Projects but so far we only know that weird F430 made by Fioravanti and the remake of the Golden Ferrari. Somewhere around the world there are 7 Ferraris we still haven´t seen.

Having never attended (flight from Seattle is long ;) and finally attending this year I had a few questions. Is Villa d'Este open to the public via ticket sales as well? It seems like Villa d'Erba on Sunday is...and I can just buy tickets when I get there. I also plan on attending the RM Auction. Any other recommendations while there? Thanks.

Villa Erba is open for 'normal' people, you just show up on the sunday, buy a ticket and enjoy the cars and atmosphere. It is great!!
    Villa d'Este isn't.

If you want to take pictures, be early, because there will be many visitors.
The prize-giving is nice too. So you should stay to see that. All the cars will have to be driven around the villa, receive some comments, cheers and then drive off again.
Nice chance to see all these rare cars on the move.

This year Villa Erba is open both saturday and sunday, but only on sunday there will be the cars of the concours. On saturday there will be the RM's cars and the motorcycles...

I will be there (obviously) on sunday.
Do you know at what time the cars moves from Villa d'Este to Villa Erba??? I really want to see them moving!!
