I am so in love with this grey 250 California Spider... for me this was the most beautiful car I have ever seen in my life. I was have been dreaming of owning the car and taking it out on a sunny sunday morning to get fresh bread for my girlfriend... even though the bakery is just next door to my house it took me the whole day to get back. Thank god I woke up before i ran into my steaming Girlfriend ;-) Ps: The story happened in real life too... but then it was with my Maranello...

The blue 250 GT SWB is probably the perfect car in the perfect color. Would love to have been there to see it in that setting. The trick is to leave in the 550 and return in the 250. She will forgive you.
Excellent article and photo sets from our friends at Ultimate Car Page: Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este Here are direct links to the galleries combining over 250 photos: Villa d'Este Villa Erba RM Auction >8^) ER
you know, I am usually the biggest 250 GT SWB fan but the one at villa d'este somehow didn't touch me at all. I thought the colour was not very special for the car and it certainly didn't help that the interior was bright grey in some areas. I don't mean to make the car bad, but it was the first time when I saw a SWB and didn't feel like "oh my god... I sooo need to have one"
I'm not a fan of grey interiors, so if I had seen it in person might have agreed with you. I have seen a 250 GT SWB in blue, though, and to my eyes the color worked well. Although I'd say it's one of very few cars that can wear any color and still own the lawn.
And here is my report of day 1/, meaning friday. Not much vintage Ferrari on this one but it's coming next. Anyway, that Maserati 63 was noisy and there were some other lovely Italians!! http://arthomobiles.fr/VE11/VE11D1.htm cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Stradale, has got to be one of the most amazing cars. Thank you for the great photos. Regards, Alberto
As always, Thanks for the photos! Aside from the cars, Lake Como is certainly one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
Thanks to everyone who posted pictures and video. The VDE is such a beautiful place. One year I'll make it back for the concours.

Thanks Jim! It has been a very long and difficult job. Software stitches perfectly all the photos, but people alwais moving all around is a problem just solvable using Photoshop...
