Villa d’Este Style, One Lake, One Car

On Sunday, an event was held at the Villa d'Este to celebrate the Alfa Romeo 6C Villa d'Este. Alfa Romeo built 25 of this car named after the Concours held there and now for I think the 14th time they were all invited back to the villa. In recent years the event has been opened to other cars that could have been parked at the villa in period, like this fantastic Ferrari 212 Inter 0167EL. It had a special place in the center of this event, because of its many similarities to the Alfa 6C Villa d'Este, both built by Touring Superleggera. The Ferrari was originally headed to the Anantara Concours in Rome, which was cancelled because of literally higher circumstances, so they did a lap of the Como lake instead. What a car!
