Vince or Jeff? Who was it that wanted a White Z06?

I can't remember is it was Jeff or Vince that made a comment about my C6 Z06 last year and said they would like to have one, but it needed to be white. Well, white is not a regular production color offered on the C6 Z06.

But GM just announced that they will be selling 399 (300 for the North American market) C6 Z06's called the "Ron Fellows ALMS GT1 Champion Edition Z06". It comes in one color; white.

White paint doesn't float my boat, but I thought I would pass this on. The Corvette Racing team also announced that they are going back to Le Mans to defend their GT1 championship and try to win their 6th Le Mans race in 7 years.

The ORDER CODE is "Z33 package" with an MSRP of $2,020.

Dealer's are selling out of their allocation quickly, but they can be found at MSRP if you make some calls. For 2007 the shocks have been re-tuned since Jan Magnussen rang the Nurburg Ring in 7:42.99 to provide an easier car to drive at the limits. There are some other small changes for 2007 that have me thinking about selling my 06 and replacing it with an 07.

The red on the interior is very minor. I'm sure you could get it re-upholstered or dyed. The c6 is available with full red interior, which I happen to like but this white Z just has red on the side bolsters and armrest.

 

Some guy on one of the Vette forums ordered his with deleting the red interior. The factory didn't deduct any money, but he was able to get all black.

The red seats don't look right to me either. I wonder why they did that?

Also, since the race cars are YELLOW, why did they go "white"?

I think that interior is great looking.

Only thing I would remove is the windshield banner.
