George, is the concours a judged event or is it just a display of the cars?

 

The concours in the past couple years was just a display. I went on the previous two. The very first one was very fun and good. Last year, I thought it honestly sucked, not nearly the level as the previous year. We went from a catered dinner to hot dogs and hamburgers at a pavilion. Plus the first year we actually did wine tastings along the route, last year we just drove by them and they gave us a bottle of wine. The first year was upscale, last year was just OK, but a huge letdown from the first year. Not worth the price IMO.

 

Went to this last year and had a fun time of driving and networking. This year is a cocktail reception on Friday the 6th and then a show on the 7th. I know a few people will be heading from the Vigneto to the CF Charities Super Car Gala and Runway Show straight from the Vigneto. The CF has a black tie gala on the 7th and runway show on the 8th. I know there are quite a few supercars already registered for the runway show and gala. If anyone is interested in driving from the Vigneto to the CF let me know, perhaps we can all make a great weekend of it.
