Does anyone have a source for the vintage style electrical connectors fro the 1970's cars, especially the clear yellow rubber slip over sleeves?

It would be a good idea to photograph the connectors that you are looking for. Pretty much all of the electrical connections for the cars from the 1970's are still available.

What do you mean by clear yellow rubber slip over sleeves? Ferrari used colored (red, green, yellow) hard plastic sleeves on the 6.3mm female connectors on cars from the 60's to the 70's. They also used soft vinyl clear sleeve on the same connectors on the later cars.

The colored sleeves are available in Italy. There is a thread from someone selling red covers for a Daytona on Fchat. The clear vinyl sleeves are available from Wurth or Winzer as are most of the metal electrical connectors.

Robert- You sure the connectors are not just yellow from age and started out clear?

Thank you for your responses. Im looking for these clear/ yellow sleeves to replace old ones and use when needed. Not a big deal but I like the originality and functionality of them...

That looks an awful lot like simple tubing slipped over the connectors and not like some to the preformed solutions you'll see offered in a lot places.

Thanks to all, we are getting closer. It definitely has a rectangular formed shape (not round), to the sleeve profile and same profile size throughout, with no taper. I have two cars, and they both have the exact same sleeving, and just trying to be consistent! :)
