    That run set an all-time track record at Infineon. I believe he also has the laguna seca record as well

    I thought the Ferrari F1 up at Laguna Seca set the track record on the Sunday of the challenge races last year.
    Bob, are you ready for your big race this weekend? Good luck at Sears Point. We will come cheer you on at Laguna Seca in two weeks

    You are correct. It was unbelievable to watch. I was in the T4 g'stand while the laps were on, and I still get chills remembering. The time was a 1:06 or 1:07, faster than Zonta in the Toyota F1 or any of the Champ Cars. Of course, it is not an official time because it was not set during a race, but the time is there nonetheless.

    I had thought Marc Gene did the time but was told by others that it was Argentinian Luis Perez Companc.
