The use of red as an exterior colour for Ferrari's as part of their country origin racing color is well understood. I have noticed in some vintage racing Ferrari's a blue coloured cloth type of interior material. An odd choice to go with a red exterior, and yet it works quite well as a color contrast.

Is there some technical reason relating to a specific in period fabric type or other reason why blue was chosen for these race car interiors? I have seen this color choice in a pontoon TR, a 250GTO and a 275GTB alloy body car at eg. the vintage Goodwood races, albeit some might have been recreations set up for race enjoyment.

Given how much modern Ferrari owners often tend to pick color pallettes that evoke some of the Ferrari history, just as we often see racing red as an exterior choice, its seems rare for people to spec blue seats or interior.

If I had a f12 tdf I'd send it back to the factory for these seats. 100% or if I was awarded an sp3
