Creating this thread to discuss cars with unique features like 0407 GT, 9571, 1477 SA, 2283 GT, and 0709 GT. What are some other Ferraris with special features?

Marcel: As you well know I restored this car (1477) about 30 years ago, It was a standard Series III 410 SA that had been modified to disc brakes, and the engine upgraded with hot cams and some carb jetting changes. Still nothing "special" other than being a 410 SA. So I am still confused by its inclusion in the original posters list.

Hi Dyke, May I ask: when restored, was 1477 SA configured back to drum brakes by your efforts or those of a later owner? I imagine that sourcing the large, special, laterally-finned & vented front drums would be a challenge, although these days anything can be made at expense. Thanks, Chris

It had a factory gun holster in it

Wacky: What is your proof of that statement? There was no holster in the car when we had it. If any holster was ever in the car, I highly doubt the "factory" installed it.

Lancia: We stayed with the disc brakes. The Series III 410's used the same brakes as the 410 Sport and 290/315/335 Sports. Very rare.

Timo: I believe that is a Washer Pump. A simpler version was common in the late 1950s-early 1960s Ferraris.

    Dyke, I thought so too.

Do you or anyone else have good detail revealing photos of the one in that car or same/similar pump in other cars from that period ?

Dyke, Thanks for that clarification of the drum brakes.
