wow, there's something to be said about exclusivity ....fairly conservative looking car, finely detailed, but rare indeed
I wish Merc could/would have truelly honored Maybach as a true "one off" make and not based it on a Merc chassis. Hell the Lexus LS460 offers a reclining back seat. Point being I do no understand why Maybach's cannot be a built per order on an original specific chassis with original coachwork. The Maybach we have now is just a Merc with another $200K added because of the name when in reality we all know what it is. I miss the true coach builders who designed everything from the frame to the engine. I miss 'engine turned' artwork like the Bugs had in the glory days.
Nice car......but IMHO no contest with "the real thing"...... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
the classic big Merc is a classis ^^ you guys have to remember too, that Maybach and Mercedes were two seperate companies, unlike now where merc simply owns the maybach name
I sometimes think I was born in the wrong time period. Its hard to appreciate some of todays cars when they looked that good back in the 1920/30s.
