    Optional and expensive on most early modern Ferraris (360, 575M, early F430, early 612) until the CTEKs became standard around 2007 timeframe

    It is unused, so I never connected it when I had the 360 Challenge Stradale, but I found this photo, which may help to answer your question? Maybe another Ferrari enthusiast can assist us?

    Affirmative on a special connector for the 575. It was forward on the starboard side near the radiator. In the OMs and parts catalog.

    The "optional" part depicted above is not included and may be sourced separately or may already be installed in your Ferrari. The included parts include the Schedoni leather case, the battery conditioner, a power cord, and a cord to connect to the "optional" part depicted above which connects to the battery in new, unused condition. I am not sure about your specific application.
