    Yes you are correct, something about the Pace car pulling up and the cars in back building up speed anticipating the green, Oops. Im assumming those cars are back on the track by now, too much money not to be.

    One of the bad things about a rolling start, especially at a track like RA where the start line is at the brow of a hill. The problem is exacerbated by a big field that gets strung out and the guys at the back get itchy to get a jump. Most historic races in Europe are standing starts which is also more authentic.

    I'm always amazed at how many guys walked away. Then again, the speeds of the crashes were so much less than today.
