On the weekend of Oct 9/10 CSRG is having a vintage race at Sears point.

In addition to our regular groups we will be hoisting the Historic F1 cars along with Historic Can-Am cars.

During the lunch break there will be three lap rides given by those cars that can take passengers. The cost for three laps is $50.00

All proceeds from the event will go to a charity sponsored by the Raceway, which, I believe, is Sonoma County Children in Need.

We hope to raise $200,000, we already have over $40,000 raised from a diner.

Admission is $20.00 for full access to the stands and paddock

Event information can be found here http://www.csrgracing.org/charitypresscsrg.html

I will be running two cars, a Brabham BT29 Formula B, and a 1965 Merlyn Sports Racer (which can take passengers Nizam’s size :))

I hope someone will organize a ride to the wine country and drop in either day.

I invite any and all Fchaters to come by and say hello.

OK, time to create a hell of a posse!

Who wants to go when and gather where and do what before (breakfast)?

Do "Nizams" get a discount, maybe 6 laps for the same donation :) ? I'd love a ride in your Sports Racer, Dave. I'd like to see what kind of lap times you can turn in that car, while piloting with those racing shoes!

I think I could make the date. I'll know for sure in a week or two.

Let's ride! I love these vintage events!

Plus it's Ben b-day we should find him a cool ride. I'll chip in for him to ride in the car of his choice. Bring your helmet Ben!
