For Sale Vintage Rolex Datejust 1603 (1969-1970)

Up for sale is this very nice 1603 Datejust with a silver dial.

This is just a great watch for casual or dress and comes on a new Hodinkee strap. Service history is unknown but keeps time and is smooth to wind.

The watch appears to be in original condition and the hands may have been re-lumed at some point. The case has been polished in the past but with nice lugs and the fluted bezel is in very good condition for its age. There are minor scratches and blemishes consistent with age but easily removed by the new owner at service.

Originally (back in the late 60s-early 70s), I believe Rolex sold this watch on a strap or a steal bracelet.

It comes for me with a very nice, soft Hodinkee leather strap, but I have several others you could pick from if this one doesn't work for you.
