I believe original, I didnt ask just happened to see it in the sales room and it looks just like mine.

 

Once, they wanted to charge me an 'entry fee' to see their inventory...ROTF & L

I can guess what they would want for the wheel

I have one just like it. It's 16in dia (outside of rim).

I believe that at somepoint in the 330GT production run, Momo was the OE wheel supplier.

Depending on the OD (I do not have my car handy to measure) this could be OE.

OD for 2+2 's is 415-420 mm.

Nardi made many of the wood wheels for the older Ferraris, and still offers a couple of models that are the same or similar style. There's one eBay seller who really jacks up the prices, wood-steering-wheels, who has the wheels with Ferrari horn buttons, or the horn buttons available separately, but check out www.crowderscustomizing.com for the same wheels priced as Nardi intends -

Hello folks. I was contacted a couple of days ago by swooshdave inquiring about steering wheel value. He directed me to this thread and I thought I might add a post. I've been a member of FerrariChat for a few years, but rarely post. I'm a steering wheel crafter in Charleston and I deal with many types of steering wheels, either restoring or making replicas. Although I do not currently make replicas of the dished wheels like the one in this thread, I thought I would offer myself as a resource to anyone seeking information on the steering wheels used on Ferrari - or any other cars for that matter. I'm doing this because there are pitfalls and snakes out there and it's very easy to be taken.

I do not have any Ferrari wheels at the moment and only rarely come across them. I had one some months back and sold it to Shaughnessy; I'll never do that again. There are many replicas out there and just as many not accurately made. Some are even sold as original NOS. Same for the horn buttons.

Again, mine is an offer of free advisory service when I can help. My personal interest is in wheels older than the ones discussed in this thread, and those are the only ones I replicate.

Not mine but I'll be watching it. This one is a little rough.

Interesting to see what the dogma says about a Momo on the earlier cars, I though the consensus was that they had Nardi.

 

Dave: That ebay wheel and yours also would have been most likely used on a '66 or '67. 1959, as advertised in the ebay sale was way too early - Momo didn't exist then. Nardi wheels were used exclusively until some point in 1966 when Enzo and Enrico had a falling out and Momo was introduced on some cars. Nardi died in 1967 and the company changed hands, never to be the same. I don't think the Momo wheels ever had true guilloche engraving, instead, likely accomplishing the spoke patterns through pressing.
