There are a few Fchatters already planning to display in a certain area. I do have a really COOL looking Skyline GTR (R34) if someone wants a HOT car to display. HOWEVER, it needs to be in a good location and not off in the corner somewhere. If anyone has a primo spot for it I will make arrangements for it to be there bright and early Sat. morning. PM me if interested.

What time is the event over on Saturday, or when is everyone leaving?

 

The show is from 1pm-9pm.

 

I'll be there Saturday Morning around 8 am to get the car loaded. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can meet up at the convention center.

A few of us will be at Crystal Cove at 7am and then head over to the convention center around 8 or so.

It's running great and I've already put 350 miles on it.

Good question about the exhaust. I drove one with Tubis and although it sounded awesome, I really thought it was quite loud inside the cockpit while cursing. So, at this point I'm going to stick with the stock exhaust and play it as it lays.

I'll keep an eye out for your Black Beauty when I arrive.

Rick's going to be there, I am going to be there, Bhane is, I'm not sure who else... Roll call time! After Crystal Cove there is around a 4 hour interval... so is everyone going home, or all going to stay somewhere for lunch? And Is anyone up for a FChat Dinner afterwards?

FYI - for anybody driving an F-car to the Show.

I was on Katella last week having dinner at Mr Stox restaurant and the street was under major repair right in front of the restaurant (about a half mile east of the convention center). The east bound side of the street was terrible; in fact the street was so bad I wouldn't even think of driving my 360 over it.

I'm not sure if the work is completed yet (hopefully it is), but just to be safe I'm going to take another street over and then cut down to Katella past the construction area. You may want to check map quest for alternate routes.

Parking Info- For "drivers" or "beaters"...Hilton Hotel parking ( closer to Convention center than event parking) is 50cents /half hour , (buck an hour) ,$9 max ,unless you stay over night .

The official event parking is around $9 flat....same as 9 hours at the Hilton. Keep this as "insider" info,as parking lot could fill when several conventions are running simultaneously. I checked with the Hotel today to reconfirm this info.

VIP sounds like a good turn out. Guys as far as Miami, Atlanta, and New York are flying in to enter their cars. Transport/Tow services must be busy moving cars this week.
