I was told a VIP was only done when a Ferrari was ordered by a client. Is that true? What value does this book bring to a 430. Thanks
I have the book with my 08 f430 spider. It's a book on your car during assembly line etc... Is this what you are referring to?
Yes. It's documentation showing the car as it's assembled and such. It was explained to me this is only offered if the car was personally ordered....
This is what I have seen...shows car being built along with engine details... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have that Exact Book that came with my 2008 430 spider....Its cool to have and glad it stayed with the car. I know it costs extra for that option, but I'm not sure what the price was....I think I heard it was a 10K option, but I'm probably wrong on that....If anyone knows, what it costs for this VIP option when new, Please Post thanks Mark Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, in a 612 that I spend a lot of time with on occasion since new (that the dealer ordered for stock) the VIP book came in the glove box. No up-charge for it either.
The last 6 of the VIN for my car is 166742 If anyone has the VIP books for my car that the original owner claims he lost, please let me know and I would be interested in buyng it from you. Ray
They did this for the 430 and every F430 (at least USA) should have this book. They stopped after the F430 because they had some problems making sure you got the correct photos with the book.... They now send you a small model car. I personally like the book better.
