    Yep, that cargo is going to be hard to see through.

    Different idea: I'd like for them to mount a camera on the nose and one on the belly of the plane and then give you 2 channels on the seat-back tv screen to watch the view through those cameras.

    Should be do-able.

    Some airlines already do this. I can't recall which ones, but I know some of them have it.

    I was on an Asiana flight last year and they had camera's that pointed straight down and also one in the nose looking forward. Pretty neat.

    When we landed, they showed the one in the nose of the plane on the screen.

    My Turkish Airlines flight from IST to EWR ended with all seatback monitors showing the nose camera on the approach and landing. It was pretty cool.
