this has to have been the best meet I ever seen - way more than the registered 202 cars inc. 2 Enzos and *at least*2 GT40s - holy smoke! pics to follow...
Mike There was a 3rd GT, a Red one out on the road, also I'm told a Gunmetal Enzo arrived when the gates were shut and didn't stop, making 3 of those too. My pics are up at http://www.collinsclan.co.uk/pages/Cars/Vw121106/index.html
fantastic to see you Ton - you are a true legend in your own lunchtime. thanks for the 512 experience - i completely need one! what a machine!
Yes, you need one! Geoffrey (Bob348) is also hooked. It was a FANTASTIC meeting. The amount of different cars was amazing and the weather was great. It was definitely worth the drive! I tried to sit in a Caterham and an Elise. I loved that black Enzo. It was so beautiful. And most of all I enjoyed the company of the three M(usqueteers). Mike, Marc and especially Mark thanks for a BRILLIANT weekend on Mud Island. I will try to upload some pictures later today. And the sound of those TVR's...... wooooooow!
I made 247 pictures!!!! That is a bit too much for this thread. I am trying to upload them to my Flickr account, but there seems to be a problem. I am working on it!

Amazing stuff Ton. I LOVE that yellow 308 GTB (I try to set my goals somewhat realistic). Thanks for posting!
It was a target rich environment! What a day! Took about the same - will process, pick the best and post... BTW I'm still chuckling about the 512TR test drive we did - people I had meetings with first thing thought I was unhinged with a grin like that! I'm never that cheerful on monday morning! thanks ton! (512TR movie here: http://www.pixelnitro.com/512/ )
Wow, this looks amaaaaaaazing! Very-very-very beautiful! I should experience something like this also one time, in the future. Especially because i have relatives in the UK (Wokingham, near Reading). Great pics. What a super-event! What about everybodies ears, because of the sounds, i guess? Does they still hurt? Or were all the exausts just like music in everybodies ears? Greetings from Holland! (Rotterdam)
Robert, I live right there too (between Wokingham and Reading!) there is another event planned for February at a bigger location (500 car capacity) date to be confirmed
Glad you had a great time - especially Ton. Sorry I couldn't make it - as explained in emails to you all - regretfully Diablo never made it either - its actually for sale at the moment and the weather was looking too good to take it out and ruin all that prep work. Great Pictures Ton...... thanx for sharing Amazing video Great sound. Thanx for posting Je made my evening complete Greetingzz cor
Very, very nice video !! It just shows how driving a Ferrari can enjoy. Needless to say that Ton must have had an amazing trust/confidence in your driving skills when handing over the keys...
Yes, I know Marc for a few years now. I consider him a friend whom I trust. There is only a few people that will ever drive in my car. I am happy to take the others along for a ride in the right seat. So, if you wanted to ask the question....., the answer is NO!
