    Well I live in albany currently, and my best friend is from Scotia, hes never been to the city except for one trip when he was little to the statue of liberty. My Girlfriend and I are planning on heading down to the city for two days to see a friend of hers for lunch and So i can check out the diamond District (as i will be attending school and working there in a relatively short period of time). I was wondering if anyone had some ideas or suggestions for a day that is kinda of unusual but fun. Its not mine or my girlfriends first time to the city (my brother lives there and I always go down) but aside from the "tourist" stuff like MoMa, times square, central Park, is there some recommendations?


    I would like to find something car-related if possible if anyone knows something going on in that way of things

    I belive the NYC marathon is this weekend on Sunday so be aware that there will be many parts of the city closed to traffic.

    There are a few exhibits right now going on I think like the bodies exhibit at the seaport. There is always the typical little italy and chinatown sight seeing eating experience. As most people know I am all about the food.
