    I'll be coming up tomorrow and was wondering if any car events will be taking place this weekend? I always make it to FMoW.

    Brian is right, The Double @ Summit Point is always a great time! It is real racing for real race fans.

    Do you know what kinds of cars and stuff will be there, thats what a 2 hr. drive from northern VA?

    David, at summit they dont got any ferraris or lambos or anything that race much, but they got like the miata class which is a blast to watch, and the rx7's, porsche cup cars, old POS race mobiles, bmw touring cars, its a blast mate, you should go.

    The best, and largest, two classes to watch are the Spec Miata, Spec RX-7. Here is a link for a visitors guide to the track. http://www.wdcr-scca.org/road_racing/index.htm. It also looks like they are doing "parade laps" during lunch Sat, Sun and Mon @ $20 bucks per car, and all of the $ goes to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. All of the SCCA club racing classes will be running, this is their biggest fields of the year.

    Thanks for the offer Antony. I use to live in Reston and worked at National, oops Regan. Althought it's been a long time since I lived there I can kind of find my way around and was just wondering if anything Ferrari was happening during my visit.

    Hey-I live in Oakton, just a couple minutes away.

    Too bad there are no events this weekend, they are far to infrequent up here.;):)
