In watching Will Buxton do the pre-race interviews, he spoke with Petrov who was wearing a vest of some sort. Anybody know what it was?
All the drivers probably wear them at one time or another, I've seen lots of them with one on. It has pockets sewn in that they put "phase change" material in -- a chemical that turns solid at 60° or so. You freeze the "ice" packs then it keeps you cool for an hour or so as it maintains 60°. They take it off before getting in the car.
