    I just had a telephone call with Michael Bartels. He won with his team the FIA-GT- Championship 2006 and is now the most successfull Maserati team with Sports Racing Cars since 1945.

    Bartels confirmed the invitation of VITAPHONE by the Le Mans organizers (ACO) - but NOT with Maserati cars!
    The ACO is still pissed by Maserati behaviours some years ago when they launched the competition MC12 which was not legal for the LM-rules!

    Also Bartels confirmed that VITAPHONE changed this season from PIRELLI to MICHELIN-tyres.
    Until yesterday they tested the new set-up on the Hockenheim circuit and Bartels confirmed a big step forward with this change.
