    Just saw the overlay ad in the just-delivered European Car magazine.
    Whatta a great ad - really hits at the Subies and Mitsus. IMHO those cars look stupid and this ad really keys on that.

    In the first place, none of those cars were identifiable Subarus or Mitsus (at least the ads that I saw). They were all garishly, horridly riced cars of indeterminate make.

    Secondly, IMHO, the Golf GTI looks pretty riced out from the factory. I, for one, dislike VW looks immensely. And the performance is nothing to write home about, FWD, making just 200 hp. I bet one of those ricers in those ads could give it a run for its money. A base Subaru WRX would embarass it. An STi or Evo would destroy it.

    Yes, Peter Stormare, he's the guy who plays a lot of psychos - he was the more psychotic kidnapper in Fargo. Even more psychotically, he was Dino Velvet (the murdering, sadistic snuff-porn king) in 8MM.
