    Feels a bit odd to be posting this in the "affordable" watch thread, but it is one of the cheaper Pateks...so, what do you guys think of the Patek Philippe Nautilus line? I am liking the one in white, with stainless steel band. It's just over $51k with taxes.

    Good buy? Think it will appreciate? Not really a big deal, but I would prefer not to lose too much on it.

    Yes, it's a Patek, but to my personal taste styling is a bit too much on the retro-1960s side.

    If more on the production end I'd be doubtful about appreciation, if a limited editon more positive.

    IMO a more traditional style would better investment-wise.
