Just a quick question, I bought a Bulova Marine Star (at a shop here in the city) about a year ago and the battery is already dead. I never wear the thing and just thought maybe it would last a little longer then that, is this a sign of more future problems or just a dead battery? On the far left (black chrono)... http://www.bulova.com/brands/bulova/product.aspx?id=717&coll_id=30&origin=collection
No need to make the long trip, You'll have it when you get to the office tomorrow I have never seen that one, are you sure its a licensed product? Pm on the way Should be just a battery issue. The movements are manufactured (with battery installed) well before the watch is fully assembled. So, there is really no way to know the exact age of the battery. I wouldn't worry about it. Go put a fresh one in and it will last you 24 months.

Here in Las Vegas visiting trying to avoid losing money in the traditional way. Saw a watch I hadnt ever seen before. Its called Invicta. The specific model has a gigantic face and is patterned after the Russian diver watch supposedly found in a vault. Pretty reasonably priced. Metal band around 1500.00 and leather band without a deployment buckle for under 700.00 really different watch. Anyone have any experience with this watch company or any stories to share. Seem pretty cheap. Jon in Delaware(visiting Las Vegas)
Great thread VTC. Keep the pics coming! Seems Ball is back with a vengeance, glad to see that. The Women's ESQ with diamonds is nice, looks like the Patek TwentyFour I keep avoiding buying for my wife;-) I'm a sucker for a reserve, sub seconds, and big date (big Lange fan), what have you got with BigDate? -dsd
I am interested in being able to buy (from an authorized reseller) a Mido watch. I like the "all-dial diver" (awkward name I know), but I like the rotating bezel feature under the crystal. Kinda cool. Plus I'm testing my new sig picture. Jay PS I don't intend to jump on an approved vendors thread, and if VTC can help me, I will support them. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I could build one it would be a 43mm Ball Trainmaster Power Glow with power reserve and a DLC coating. With a matching bracelet. If I could build one.
