I just booked a room there for Halloween with some friends. Does anyone have any feedback on the quality of hotel. Also what should I absolutely do for Halloween in New Orleans.

It was great last year. Very well located and great security for your car.

Hi Thad, glad you're coming to visit our fine city! For sure you need to take one or more of the Haunted Tours in the quarter. I've been on a couple of them and I recommend the Vampire Tour. Also, there's a great Haunted House that's pretty cool at City Park and of course everyone will be out in costumed force on Bourbon Street and all the French Quarter Clubs!

    Have a great time!

I've never stayed there but it is one of the bars I go to(whiskey blue). And Zoe's Bistro is a good place to eat in the hotel. I've always had good experiences in those two places inside of the Hotel.

The W Hotel is great! The rooms are nicely appointed & very friendly service/staff. The only negative would be the rooms were smaller than anticipated.

Which W are you staying in? The one 'IN' the French Quarter or the one West of the French Quarter? I've stayed in both, the one 'IN' the Quarter is the best IMO, but there isn't anything wrong with the one across Canal.

Halloween weekend is the Steel Pony express event.

I heard this is the 6th largest bike event in the world. 120K people this year?So if you like having your ears blown out by bikes blasting around the Quarter Halloween weekend will really blow your skirt up.

I find most bikers look at a Ferrari - may not get it but they're cool about it.
