Where in Michigan are you? I've got a house on sand lake, which is basically in Centreville.

Hi Mike, I live in the Brighton area, about 20min north of Ann Arbor.

I just spoke with my buddy who owns the local mastercraft dealership, Watersports Marine, and he will have my boat ready anytime I want it, so planning on next week... I'm getting too old to hit the water any sooner... Brrrrrrrrr!

Nope, not a honeycomb. I couldn't justify the extra dollars for it at the time. I had only borrowed friend's boards at the time and eventually plopped down somewhere between 7 and 900 on the board/accessories. I also have a few VHS videos of Shaun Murray (detention 1&2). Darn, I need to narrow down my hobbies!

Shaun Murray is awesome! I think it was detention 1 where he played the scene from King Pin in the beginning. Funny stuff!

I put my hoist in on Wed... the water was pretty cool, but, I'm thinking its time for a pull if the temps stay up in the 60's. We have had an unusualy warm week here in Michigan, so that has helped.

When I was a kid we would go up to a lake Named Pine Lake (I think) not far (by memory) from Barrie. You had to park and then go in by boat about 20 minutes to get to the lodge. There were other lakes that we would portage to...Round Lake, Bootie and another I can't remember. I learned to ski there behind a 16' john boat with a 35hp Johnson. The brothers that ran the camp were hunting guides in the winter and Fire Jumpers in the summer. Just wondered if that was near your neck of the woods.
