    Does anyone know how to turn the WAL on in the SF90? Owners manual discusses the WAL and the fact that it is turned off when you use the key fob to unlock/lock the doors but I cannot find any reference to turning the WAL back on so the car will auto lock(and mirrors close)once I get a specified distance from the car.

    Handy to make sure it is always locked when I leave it.

    Appreciate any help!

    Not helpful to you. But mine was on, turned itself off, and I can't figure out how to get it working again either.

    To turn the walk away lock / unlock back on you need to lock the car via the fob. Once it's locked press the lock button (on the fob) two times in a row.
    That should do it!

    Thanks for the input. We have tried this and, even though Ferrari quoted this as the way to start the WAL back up, it does not work. It has been tried on multiple cars with no luck so far. I assume we will get it figured out but it may actually involve a bit of "luck" to get it working!

    I will report back if we find out just how to do it. Checking the box for "Welcome to the new car" has not worked and that is where the system is turned on in Settings. Also been told that a proxy file update may be needed....whatever the does! :)

    Doesn’t work on an updated Roma either. Setting is also missing.

    Evidently removed for some reason.

    Hmm. It worked on my car. I just had the 499 recall / service campaign done and it wasn't working (it seems like this recall affected SF90 and 296 owners). My tech said to perform the sequence I mentioned above and it works fine now. So it has worked on at least one car.
    I hope you get it figured out and it's something simple.

    I had the same issue with the walk away locking feature not working on my SF90 following a recent software update. They re-applied the update (or maybe there was an update to the update?), and now all is good.

    Got the car back from the dealer(Boardwalk)and they did a great job getting the WAL working again
