There is a Blue/Blue 86 328 GTS here in St. Charles Ill. at St. Charles motor sports. I can't remember the web address but probably in google.

I know that there is at least one blue/blue 308 QV. It was sold at Motorcars International a few years ago. I saw the photos of it and may be able to acquire copies of a few of them. I didnt think it would look that great, but was pleasantly surprised at it.

I'd love to see some photos, both interior and exterior.

Blue on blue in a 308 is not something I've ever seen, but I can imagine that it looks gorgeous. . . But then, even white, not usually my favorite color for cars, looks striking on a 308.

I guess 308s, especially GTBs, are just so beautiful that I love them in any color. Even the lime green someone posted in another thread looks all right.

I'll take my silver one over lime green, though. ;)

    That's really cool! (And different.)

I think that the blue looks great with the slightly different blue exterior. Black carpets, making it not ALL blue, make it striking. Blue carpets might make it look "too blue."

Your car looks fantastic, a relief from the standard red and tan (although that looks good, too.)

    Thanks for sharing!

    Whoa!

Somebody said his black 328 lacks "pop," but I can tell you already that your GT4 is going to look spectacular! Can't wait to see photos when it's finished.

This was the one at Motorcars. I enquired about it, but it is a Euro, so not CA legal, and a GTB, so not ideal for southern CA.

There was a blue/blue '83 at Boston Sportscar for a loooooooong time. I have a hunch that the blue interior wasn't a selling point, and it also had chromed wheels for whatever reason.

(where's the car?? All I can see is a GT4-shaped mirror!!)

Incidentally, the color is a very dark blue. Rover midnight blue metallic.

Prugna/tan did it for me... the only other color I would consider would be a medium metallic red... rosso rubino?... saw a 308 in that color here in San Diego about 6mo ago and it was beautiful... wouldn't own a resale red 308...

    Best,
    Tom

It's great to see so many blue 308/328. I also have the blue on blue. Blue Chairo 502C. I was looking for the red/tan, but I couldn't pass up a blue 308QV. I would have perferred crema interior, but life is short, and I wasn't going to wait forever. The one currently listed on ebay looks like a 503C with a crema interior. That would have been a wallet opener for me.

The one at Motorcars International was extremely attractive to me too, and I considered it just before I bought mine, but I just didn't want a GTB eventhough it looks better than the GTS. I just perfer the open air feel. I believe I did bid around $32K for it thought. For the right price, I would have suffered with a blue/crema GTB..:)

Man I love the 308GT4 in dark blue, you're going with 16" rims, right? Also love the Prugna 308 tomkatf.

Mine WAS dark blue, with indeed 16" rims.

That blue was a solid, with no known paint number.

In order to solve some blemishes, we've taken the car down to bare metal.

The new paint is a Rover / mini color. Midnight blue metallic.

Yes, a metallic, albeit with a very fine metallic flaking only.

The car hasn't been out in the sun yet, but the initial polishing promises a VERY nice finish!!! :)

(pics: old paint, new paint, initial polish only. This painter is a madman, and I love him for it!!!)
