If we went James Noah Perry we would call him Noah.
we don't even know if it's boy for sure yet. So you guys like Kaitlyn Grace ? She sounds hot right, (can I say that about my daughter ?) a Kaitlyn that loves to borrow dad's ferrari talk about a dream girl hehehe
Jackson Deuteronomy Perry hmm, no - better whip out my big Bible Dictionary. Jackson Dale Perry - No, wait, that's in Florida, ain't it? (Daleth is 4th letter of Hebrew alphabet) - coincidentally, there are many Jewish settlers in Florida. Jackson Dara Perry (Darda was son of Mahol, family of Zerah, tribe of Judah, who was celebrated for wisdom [I Kings 4:31]. In Chronicles 2:6 the name appears as Dara) - sounds kinda Girly, though. Jackson Darius Perry - there were three gents by the name of Darius - between 'em - they got a whole page of tiny text in my Bible Dictionary - in a nutshell: Of the three, most highly regarded was King of Persia from 521 - 486 BC - Darius I, aka Darius Hystaspis, aka Darius the Great. He allowed the Jews to build the Temple of Jerusalem. Think about that for a moment, will you? Here, he warrants a page of his own, which is but a summary of his many accomplishments: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darius_Hystaspis
I like the name James Noah Perry... Jackson as a first name? not really my favourite...hopefully by time your child grows up Micheal Jackson will be out of the peoples minds.
So far the wifey approved possibilites are Jackson Cruise Jackson Tyler Jackson Ryan Jackson Riely James Noah Jackson Dylan
Why not Jackson Noah or Jackson James? Maybe you could spell it a different way, do you really want everyone to think you named him after that guy? Maybe "Kruz" or "Kruse". Yeah, that's it. Kruse. After the auto auction people!!
If I'm not enough of a biblical reference, you could always go with something like: Carbon Samson Perry (I, myself, have a beautiful mane)... You could always go towards something a little more, hmmmm, devilish; like, say: Carbon Cain Perry (I, myself, have always been a bit of a trouble maker)... For a girl, you could always go with: Mary Delilah Perry (M.D. Perry - very cool)... Bi-polar daughters are always fun to raise; you could go with: Jezebel Eve Perry (or switch it around: Mary Jezebel Perry)... Eva Maria Perry Mary Eve Perry Miriam Madonna Perry Rebecca Delilah Perry Sarah Delilah Perry Virginia Abigail Perry Abbie Rhode Perry (sorry, I'm a big Beatles fan) Faith Perry Marianna Perry (or, subsequently, Mary Anna Perry) Back to the boys: Christian Gabriel Perry Gabriel Carbon Perry Carbon Gabriel Perry (hey, what can I say? Carbon's a cool name!)
Luke Matthew Perry, he can be semi-famous whichever name you want to call him. He can tell his friends he was named after mediocre stars from the late 90's when his parents thought they were really cool. BT
This thread reminds me of a story. A few years ago the son of an employee was about to become a father himself. He and his wife knew that it was going to be a girl and had decided that they would name her Candace but were also having a hard time with a middle name. So our employee, Norm, told his son that he should use his grandmother's first name, Assunta, as the little one's middle name and then they could shorten both names and call her Candy Ass. This is why we keep Norm around.
I was just able to adopt my 10 year old step son. On the adoption papers, I had his name changed from 'Adam David' to 'Adam David-Enzo'. The amazing thing is that my wife is the one that had the attorney do it for me as a surprise. He is also the only one in his class named after a F1 team owner, and I am sure that Heidi Klum didn't name her son after her baby daddy, Flavio!
Sad Reality: <Folks>"His full name is [First name] Cruise [Last name]"</Folks> <adoring friends, neighbors and relatives>'Oh, isn't he darling'</adoring friends, neighbors and relatives> (Later) As adoring friends, neighbors and relatives drive away... <Folks>"G'night everyone!</Folks> <within 1 block><adoring friends, neighbors and relatives>OMG! Cruise!? WTF? ROFLCOPTER!77!</adoring friends, neighbors and relatives></within 1 block> Rinse and repeat at every graduation, minor and major life event... ____ Sorry. Sad, but true.

Oops? Misstake? That's what I would name my kids. Seriously, I think Jessica and Serena are beauiful names.
