Methinks you should buy a colour monitor! Or adjust the settings on the one you have, they are pink wheels, and horrid!
Ahhh, those rims are blah. They are better than the stock rims on that car though. The stock rims are hidious.
Oh lord, as the LexusEnthusiast here, I must forward these pictures of nastiness to my fellow Lexus Enthusiasts. Ew.
Anybody that buys one of those ugly things has no taste anyway. God they are hideous! ... Infact since only gay men would buy one of those cars, I think we are unfairly attacking women with this thread. Pete
Unnecessary Stereotyping = HATER The SC430 is a beautiful car, try driving one before you comment on it so harshly. I realize the look may not appeal to you, but saying that only gay men and women would buy this car is an entirely ignorant statement. Anyway, I prefer the 1st gen SC's 10x more, personally, which is why I own one.
SC430 is garbage. Reliable garbage, but garbage none the less. I would take a SL (any gen) over it. That said I respect the real SC (last gen SC300s and SC400s). The only Lexi I ever liked. When making the 430, they asked, hey how can we make the SC a convert. and as girly as possible? Now all that said, if you really want to impress a women...
I try not to drive my car to impress women, I can do that on my own People have their opinions, and I agree with you that the 1st gen SC's look much better. This car appeals to certain people, and not to others. I know plenty of STRAIGHT, married men who own SC430's. Throw an AutoCouture body kit on with some 19" or 20" rims and a generous drop using a coilover system, and the car no longer looks as girly as you may think. You also have to realize the marketing aspect that went into the design of this car. When this car was introduced, it came along with the other "bubble" cars, i.e. the TT and G35. The new redesign of the SC, logically one would put it around 2009/10, will bring a completely new look, probably incorporating that hardtop convertible again.
I don't think that looks so bad. I just can't, for the life of me, understand why Hulk Hogan drives it!
