Want to clear up a few things about Sato...

It was pretty much like that. I remember reading about it in that "obscure German magazine", my favourite Motorsport Aktuell while this was going on. They never left a good story unturned. Anyway just recently in an interview with Frentzen in his F1 retirement they asked him again about this and he pretty much confirmed it.

Whether the stability really was Corinna's only issue, who knows and who cares. But it is true they were very close and a bit less thereafter...
