Want to join us on a drive to Toad Hall on June 23rd?

So TGF and I decided we needed an excuse to enjoy our new cars on a nice long drive, and it turns out both of us have been wanting to go down to see Bill Putman's collection of red cars in Hyannis Port (http://www.toadhallcars.com/).

We thought we'd head down there on Saturday, June 23rd. Perhaps stop for lunch somewhere around 11am, and then go over and see the collection. I also thought it might be fun to stop in at FoNE earlier in the morning, see what they've got kicking around there at the moment and say hello, since it's right on the way down (though I haven't pitched that idea to TGF yet ).

Anybody else interested in either driving down there with us, or meeting us there?

 

As of this afternoon, my car just needed an inspection and a good wash. Getting it from Darin tomorrow morning! Hopefully I'll have 'coming home' pics up tomorrow. Tom has had his car for a few weeks now.

Great, I knew we could count on you! Yeah I noticed that too about the TR. He's definitely really more of a British car nut, but a car nut is a car nut!

 

The oil was, luckily, just bad seals on the dizzy. The previous mechanic had noticed the problem but only replaced the cover gaskets and left it at that.

I had him put the Hyperflow cat in, but did decide in the end to go with a used stock muffler instead of the Tubi. I'll add a Tubi later if I feel the need to spend more money.

Ok, talked to Jesse the salesman over at FoNE. He's happy to play host for us when we show up.

 

Nobody else is interested in joining us? Bad date? Bad location?

 

Turns out the 23rd isn't any good for either TGF or myself anymore. I guess that was just an ill fated date. So M.James (or anybody else still reading this thread ), does the 30th work for you?
