    D'ont know if you guys in the US,involved in military kit have spotted the Bonhams sale at the Goodwood Members Meeting (20th Mar). They have on offer,from a receiver,an English Electric CanberraPR9 bomber,(est only £50K),reputedly airworthy,and a Hawker Hunter T7 with no reserve,(est £8K) .Have a look at ...bonhams.com, goodwood sale.

    There are apparently a few Canberras still flying... Ten according to Wikipedia which is more than I would have suspected. I would have guessed that the NASA RB-57s were the last of them.

    That "reputed airworthy" sounds a bit scary... Hopefully someone will give it a good home.

    They also have a hawker hunter. super low estimate (8-12,000gbp)... even cheap just as a sculpture....

    Operating costs are high. Sculpture must be kept indoors, otherwise they will deteriorate to nothing. That said, I'd love to have them.
