I've read the original post and the sub "threads" on the 246 Wheel badge and am looking for something close...a 206 GT horn button...original (good luck) or replacement. I've tried almost all of the dealers listed here, and most refer me to a 246GT horn button...even seen one on ebay, but to my knowledge, they are different parts! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ps The button is actually for a 246 GTL (1969) with a wooden wheel, but I didn't want to confuse the issue...it is identical to the 206!
    Thanks
    Chris

    Thanks Steve,
I did see that on ebay...but it looks like one for a 246gt...I'm almost certain that the one I need is different...any 206gt owners agree??
The 246gt button is smaller and won't fit into the hub we have, so splitting it apart wouldn't help, unless we could fabricate from it....
    Bets regards

The 206 horn button is like the Daytona only it says Dino. I used to have a couple years ago. It was just a piece of plastic with no horn contact.

EXACTLY!! Now...where do I find or how can I make a button identical to this...???
Thanks for the photo! (I actually have the PH button, and it is obviously incorrect..maybe I can use it as a die?)
    Regards,
    Chris

Contact me and I may be able to make you a reasonable facimilie. I have also made 206 GT shift knobs for other owners.

Excuse the lousy picture from my phone, but this is what you need for your 206 or L.
Gregg has a good idea. Perhaps get someone to machine a clear blank for you then have a sign painter paint the Dino logo on the inside.

Thanks for all of the responses. I think we're on the same track...we have the Horse button, and removing it and replacing it with a Dino wheel button may be the only answer (not an easy one either!) Any plastic surgeons out there??

I've seen re-originals and other vendors with recreation "competition" wheels that have my needed Dino button... but they can't/won't reveal where they're made. I wonder if somewhere in Italy, even possibly the factory itself, an extra one lies...

Re-originals does indeed go to the original suppliers to Ferrari, in some cases....
