The 360 pump will give you faster , more robust shifts.

I prefer the gaps of the original system. If I want super fast seamless shifts, I’ll just get into my 63 AMG.

IM ADDICTED TO MY 355 F1. It has ALL of the perfect mods. Keep the F1 system stock.

Jeff - the 360 pump has zero impact on shift speed. That's a wives tale.

You are probably right. Though it is all I’ve ever heard from those that have installed one. I know the 360s shift faster and it may have more to do with the electronic side I’m sure.
My advice to Steve is keep the car stock and only add reversible, worthwhile mods.

Im with Dave definately a wives tale.
Now if you installed a 360 complete system maybe i would believe it, but maybe it would hurt the tranny.
    Enquiring minds want to know??

360 pump just helps prime the accumulator faster. Should technically have zero effect on shift times...however it may perform a bit better under aggressive driving with repeated quick shifting (maybe a smaller track with lots of turns) but even that is up for debate.

That said...being impatient as I am, I'll take the reduced priming time any day over the stock pump I had.

Could not argue that without knowing the rpm of the 360 pump. That could be possible especially if your accumulator is not working properly
