    Greetings All,

    I own a 355 F1 GTS. I'm posting this message for a friend.

My friend Al is 63 and is interested in a new fun car. He's a cash buyer but also no fool - he spends he's money wisely.

He really likes the 430 Spider but has made the comment "I'm too old for a Ferrari" which I've told him is total nonsense. He also likes the Maserati GT and I've explained to him that the two cars have very different purposes.

He's not looking for a DD, just a weekend fun car. He will probably do 2000-3000 miles per year. This car would replace a 94 Corvette convertible he bought new.

So, I'm looking for advice when seeking a 430. I know a lot about the 355 but not much about the 430. Any help would be appreciated.

We are going to Ferrari of Ontario this weekend to view but cars so he can decide which one he wants to pursue.

If it's a 430, he's looking for the following (if anyone is selling)

    Nero with Cuoio.
    F1 for sure.
    Spider
Late model preferred but will consider all
    Yellow Calipers.
    Under 15K miles
    Recent service.

    Thanks guys!

Sorry this is going to sound like as cliche but if you know nothing about the 430 spend a lot of time reading all the how-to-buy & what-to-buy threads here - it seems like they've been coming up once or twice a week recently

Caliper color change is cheap and should not be listed as a potential deal-breaker

Yes, I know search is my friend but I also wanted to post that we may be seeking to buy very soon. Caliper color is not a deal breaker but something we would prefer to avoid. I'll be doing all non major service for my friend.
