One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I'm about to undertake a race car project. A car that may be unwise to try to bring back to cosmetic or mechanical shape would probably save me money.

These are getting even rarer if that's possible.

Injected with what ? ... I think you could probably inject a bunch of $$$$.

Do you think it could be brought back ?

Actually there is a frame in there that I can use. I could hope for a bit better starting point though.

What is your budget for a boxer? Think close to $100K because even a rat thats worth half that wont be let go by a seller at a reasonable price, they all think they're worth a fortune even after sitting for 2 decades. Even the car I posted above had an asking price as it was then they soda blasted it, primed it and relisted it. I think it was a few grand and its scrap!

I considered this car below as it was, then again as it was after an improper repair thinking I could use it as a beater that would always be worth a bundle in parts but it was too expensive, just under $100K I believe it sold for.

Ah. I remember it well. That's the one I wanted. But I could get a better car for the money they wanted or got.

That is the kind of car I would love to have. The black one that is.
