Toyota Scion B (Box) - gets about 33 mpg. How's that for commuting? It's also roomy inside, but small outside. Easy to park. And for a box, it's pretty nimble. With TT&L, should be about $20,000.

I agreeTexas cars is good as well. I bought an XJ12 from them a few years ago. The XLR I just bought came from the link I posted earlier. Both good places and they both sold me good cars.
My Superamerica works great Fuel sipping economy too. Try a Mini with warranty. My old Cooper S Works is sitting @ Ferrari dealer with 8k miles, 03, for 24k ish? Trade in almost paid taxes on the SA.

Those guys are very honest, I have bought four cars from them (XJ6, XJ8, Xj8L, XJR) great daily drivers, great reliability (yes!!) and great prices.
No Brian, you're speed reading again. Go back and read your post. You said YOU bought an XLR. The only XLR I know of is a Caddy, so I asked if YOU bought a Caddy. I assume you meant your XJR, but you fat fingered it. Can't even point out a guys shortcomings around here....

Mini should definitely considered if it was me!, but I don't really know his taste in cars. All I know is that he has 308 in Japan & looking for 456 for almost a year now, and used to drive 1 Toyota & 1 Nissan. My wife still like Mini over mini van. Sfumato, Great, Fabulous looking SA!
