I am looking for an F40 with good history. Pref non-cat non adjust but open minded.
Realistic sellers only, I am the end user, no brokers.
    Cash purchase this week.

How cynical - thanks for your input.
Yep. Last year I gave up as was being offered loads of cars with missing history and nothing came up that was good enough to buy. I decided I would park the itch for the F40 as I had just bought a PTS Cobalt blue Carrera GT and the time wasn't right. I sold the Carrera GT this week and my Dino is also going so money is burning a hole in my pocket and I am determined to try again to find a good F40.
If you are questioning credibility look on instagram at MrJB29. I own a Speciale, 812SF, Dino, 488 Challenge that I raced in UK last year, (Pilot liveried car) and coming this year- SF90 Stradale, 812 GTS, and Pista Piloti. Outside of Ferrari I have various other bits like the new Speedster heritage, GT3RS, Integrale Final Edition, and various other race cars.

So, next week if an F40 doesn't come up who knows. I won't compromise and buy a bad one that's for sure.

Non-cat & non adjust is a great parameter, just the way the cars were intended to be.

The current market is a level playing field and for F40s it's a buyer's market with mostly realistic sellers so your timing is good.

Some brokers do in fact have access to some sensibly priced cars without any missing history all over the world, so I'd keep an open mind there.

As regards timing, I wouldn't try and do this in a week, patience is key, you'll know when you've found the right F40 and it'll take as long as it takes, this is a car worth the wait so enjoy the process.

Yep I’m talking DK engineering about a couple they have. There are 2 private cars and 3 dealer cars that are interesting. Looking positive this time!

I’m similar to op but even worse, when I bought my last Ferrari I woke up wanting one and decided it had to be by the end of the day or I wouldn’t be interested anymore. Was hard to find the right car within budget but managed it by 6pm !

You're spoilt for choice right now, so you won't have any problem buying one that's right for you.

Speaking internationally, there are @ 20 F40s you can buy, @ 10 from dealers and another @ 10 or so from various private parties.

In the scheme of the Ferrari super cars, having the only true race history, enzos last build ect ect to me they are the most important of the 5. By a wide margin too.
